Smoothies for kids

Making healthy breakfast smoothies for the kids is easy, so easy that you can get them to help you prepare a smoothie themselves. For my younger toddlers I let them get involved just by pressing the button on the blender. They get so happy that they got to help. If we cut, chop or diced the fruit, they can help by adding it to the blender as well. The bigger kids can do these by themselves with our supervision of course! Frozen fruits substitutes for ice. We do not add ice when we use frozen fruits.

These smoothies are so healthy that our chocolate greens contain 34 fruits and veggies

Flautas

Whatever your cheat meal is for the day, let's not forget out Fat Fighters. 
I made some flautas today was really waiting to make them. These are ground beef flautas. 
A flauta is a taquito (tortilla) rolled up with either chicken, beef, or pork meat inside or just cheese. 

The taquito is then fried-crisp and then we add our condiments! Which may include lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, avocado, cheese and homemade salsa.

Ingredients 
Tortillas • chicken or your choice of meat •cooking oil 
Condiments 
•Lettuce •diced tomato • diced onion • cilantro • sour cream • avocado •cheese

Stuff your tortilla with chicken. Roll and place three to four taquitos in a hot oil pan. Cook until golden brown on all sides. Usually about two to three minutes. Remove and place in a plate with paper towel to absorb extra oil. 

Serve warm place in a plate add condiments on too eat and enjoy. 
Remember that fat Fighters absorbs fat and blocks carbs

Mango Protein Smoothie Day 20

Let's start with the basic mango smoothie..
Let's not get add different fruits and flavors to our smoothies. At least not today.

So this one is a basic smoothie recipe again few ingredients fast and easy to make. So skipping breakfast is not an option.

If adding frozen mango chunks do not add ice. If the mango is fresh add 1/2 cup ice.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Today is in the 90+ degree weather again. So to make it easy fast and simple my kids once again will help make their own lunch and dinner today. No fancy steaks or anything like that. But an easy grilled cheese sandwich. They can add lettuce tomatoes avocado and ham in they want or just simple and only the grilled cheese sandwich.

Ingredients
Sliced sandwich bread
Cheddar cheese
Butter (optional)

Directions
Heat skillet to medium-low heat
Place your slices of bread, butter side down
Add one slice of cheddar cheese to each of the slices of bread
Place the other slice of bread in top of the cheese, butter side up
Flip sandwich until golden brown in both sides and cheese is melted

Slice your sandwich and enjoy with a glass 🥃 of orange juice or a bottle of water
((I had my sandwich with a bottle water and added a It Works on the go berry))

Smoothies for kids!!!

Help your kids prepare themselves a kid friendly smoothie let them go with their tummies full to school. Use frozen fruit so that it will be creamy and thick. Remind them that it's a smoothie not a milkshake. Here are a three smoothies to try with your kids for the week. Have a nice fun named to the smoothie like if you're doing a banana smoothie name it
Banana Split Smoothie




Blueberry Pancakes Sunday

Light, fluffy and fruity the Ultimate Sunday morning breakfast.  These easy blueberry pancakes are made with fresh blueberries. Pancakes freeze really well so we can make a huge batch and eat them for breakfast all week.  

Ingredients:
• 1 to 1  1/2  cup milk • 2 large eggs • vanilla extract (optional) • 1/4 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons melted butter • 1 1/2 cups flour  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 

Instructions:
Heat griddle over medium heat

In a bowl combine flour, baking soda, sugar and mix 

In another bowl mix milk, eggs, butter and vanilla extract 

Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, sugar) to the wet ingredients (milk, butter eggs and vanilla extract) and mix all together

Gently fold in the blueberries to the mixture 

Lightly butter the hot griddle 

With an icecream scoop, scoop some of your blueberry batter and pour over your griddle.

Let cook for about three minutes or until bubbles start to form at the top. Flip over your pancake and cook until golden brown. 

Continue with the rest of the batter

Enjoy with a glass of milk, orange juice or a cup of coffee

French Toast and Blueberries

French Toast are my favorite. I been wanting to make some for awhile. Today my daughters are all exited because they get to help make the French Toast and feed the family. French Toast with some blueberries for toppings and a glass of Orange juice or a glass of milk. There are many recipes for making French Toast but this is what we used for our French Toast:
Ingredients:                                         Toppings:
1 cup milk.                                          Blueberries or any other fruit ( we are using blueberries today)
2 Eggs.                                                Maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon                      Butter (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Slices of bread 🍞

Directions:
•Beat together Egg, milk all ingredients in a bowl
•Heat a griddle on medium with butter
•Dunk a slice of bread into the mixture one at a time in both sides
•Put in in the griddle until golden brown in both sides

Add your toppings serve with a glass of juice or milk eat and enjoy

Start your day with this blueberry banana smoothie its healthy, easy and quick to prepare.  Blueberries are so good for you and I love the idea of getting all the vitamins and protein from a smoothie.  Frozen blueberries are perfect for a smoothie. This is as simple as it gets just very few ingredients we been using bananas this week for the smoothies we just need the blueberries. Avocado 🥑 and Turkey Sandwich

I like my 🍞 toasted when I make my sandwiches. So I'm going to toast my bread. I'm using wheat bread and the other half of my avocado that I had left over from this morning. I'm slicing my avocado into slices adding romaine lettuce sliced tomatoes slices of red onion and turkey ham. That's all I've got for my sandwich.
