I made some flautas today was really waiting to make them. These are ground beef flautas.
A flauta is a taquito (tortilla) rolled up with either chicken, beef, or pork meat inside or just cheese.
The taquito is then fried-crisp and then we add our condiments! Which may include lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, onions, avocado, cheese and homemade salsa.
Ingredients
Tortillas • chicken or your choice of meat •cooking oil
Condiments
•Lettuce •diced tomato • diced onion • cilantro • sour cream • avocado •cheese
Stuff your tortilla with chicken. Roll and place three to four taquitos in a hot oil pan. Cook until golden brown on all sides. Usually about two to three minutes. Remove and place in a plate with paper towel to absorb extra oil.
